Meeting Dates, Agendas & Minutes
Included in this section are the Minutes of the Meetings of the Town Council plus its various Committees [Planning, Finance, Public Hall, Allotments and Foreshore & Footpaths]. Also included are Minutes for the Budleigh Traffic Group, a sub-committee of the Town Council.
Please note that if any Minutes are annotated "Draft" this means they have not been signed by the Chairman of the Council (or Chairman of the appropriate Committee) and may therefore be subject to minor amendment.
If you require a copy of minutes older than those included here, please contact the Town Clerk who will be happy to supply them at a small charge.
Agendas & Meeting Calendar
Allotments Committee - The Town Council runs the Allotment Gardens in Greenway Lane. There are currently 14 full plots and 42 half plots.
Budleigh Traffic Group - Budleigh Traffic Group was formed to attempt to alleviate some of the traffic problems in the town. Its Membership is mixed with Town, District and County Councillors plus local interested parties.
Finance Committee - The Finance Committee meets approximately three times a year. Its main function is to set the Precept (the amount of money requested from East Devon District Council required to run the Town Council) and to make sure these budgets are adhered to.
Foreshore & Footpaths Committee - Minutes for 2009 are included here; the minutes from 2010 will appear here after the next meeting which is scheduled for 12 July.
Planning Committee - The Planning Committee meets on the second and fourth Mondays in the month. All 12 Councillors are members of the Planning Committee with a monthly non-voting member. The Chairman of this Committee is Cllr R S Mitchell.
Public Hall Committee - As the name suggests, the Public Hall Committee's job is to look after the Public Hall. There are currently seven members sitting on this Committee, which meets four times a year.
Town Council - The Town Council meets on the fourth Monday of every month (with the exception of August and December).
