The Public Hall hosts many events during the week; we have split these between "Regular Bookings" which, as the title suggests, happen every week and those which are "Coming Soon". If you are holding an event in the Public Hall, contact the offices and the staff will include any information on this page.

We also have FREE WiFi for our hall users, please do ask for the code when collecting your keys!

Did you know that the Public Hall can be booked for all types of events - please click on the link for a current list of Hiring Fees for Regular and Commercial bookings. Interested? Contact the Offices (01395 442245) to check availability.

Wednesday 23 October 2024 - Budleigh Arts Society (Budfas) 

A talk by David Worthington entitled:- 'Auguste Rodin and 19th Century Sculpture'. Rodin is one of the heroic figures of 19th Century art history taking sculpture on a revolutionary path.

Doors and bar open at 5.15pm

Talks start at 6.00pm and last for one hour

Visitors and Members Guests welcome @ £10.00 

Friday 25 October 2024 - Produce & Crafts Market

9.00am to 1.00pm

A wide range of local artists and crafts and a selection of:-

FRESH Fish, Beef, Lamb, Pork, Venison.

Seasonal Organic Fruit & veg, Eggs, Cheese, Artisan Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Fudge, Honey, Jam, Chutney.

Wednesday 20 November 2024- Valuation Day - Norman Centre

Atkins Auctions are hosting a valuation day from 1.00pm to 4.00pm in the Norman Centre - (attached to the Public Hall)

The team will be on hand to offer free valuations and will also be accepting consignments for their upcoming auctions.

Come along with your jewellery, watches, gold, silver, coins, medals, collectables!

Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland is a forgotten Georgian gem, acquired for the nation by the then Prince Charles. This is the story of its controversial rescue and is both fascinating and entertaining

At Budleigh Public Hall from 12.30pm to 3.00pm

The Norman Centre

The Town Council also manages the Norman Centre which is adjacent to the Public Hall.
