20.3.20 - Budleigh Salterton Town Council
The Town Council's concern has always been. and will continue to be. the well-being of the town's residents. In light of the current situation, the Annual Town Meeting, which was due to take place in the Public Hall on Monday 20 April, has been postponed.
Legislation states that the meeting must be held between 1 March and 1 June every year. Discussions are taking place between the Government and the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) and it seems likely that this legislation will be relaxed so that the meeting can be held later in the year. As soon as further information is received, we will let you know.
The schedule of Town Council meetings is also under review pending further advice from NALC but in the short term all meetings have been cancelled. Please be assured that Councillors continue to be involved in all aspects of the Town Council.
UPDATE - 27.4.20
The Town Council is now able to hold virtual meetings. Please click on the Meetings tab at the top of this page for information of forthcoming meetings.
Please note that as from 1.00pm on Friday 20 March 2020, the Town Council Offices are closed to the public.
The Council can still be contacted via email or telephone.

Whilst the café is closed they will continue to cook and provide meals for
those in need."
